Influences: Spoony Experiment

It took me a long time to be able to understand that sometimes a movie, video game, or television program is just flat-out bad.  I saw Masters of the Universe with a group of friends in the theater in 1987 for a birthday party, and even at seven years old, we knew something was off.  Our usually rowdy group was quiet when the film ended, and I could hear other kids picking the specific parts that were cool and awesome, but nobody said "that movie was great."  It was like a friend had died, and nobody wanted to say it out loud, so you'd just go "Hey, remember that time he threw rocks at a bee hive and then ran seven blocks home with an angry swarm behind him?"
